Deriv – Ad concepts – Extreme sports

This awareness campaign for Deriv was made with AI. These four videos take extreme sports as an analogy for the thrills and perils of trading the financial markets. The title, ‘Know your limits’, refers to risk – in both cases managing your risk is paramount to a successful performance.
Personally, I think the films needed more crafting. Whereas I wrote the four scripts without AI, the visuals and VOs are entirely done with AI. It’s quite possible the editing was done by AI as well –  the imagery sometimes comes adrift from the VO and the pacing could be better too. However, I was brought in as conceptual copywriter/scriptwriter, and, beyond the first draft, had little say in editing and directing.

Capex.com – Collaboration with influencer Zach King

As Head of Content at Capex, I was part of the team putting together a digital campaign with influencer Zach King. The campaign was entitled ‘Experience the Magic of Trading’ and played on Zach’s skills as a master of VFX.
We later incorporated aspects of the video campaign in banners and a series of automated emails aimed at boosting acquisition and CRM.
